Review of After the Dark (2013) by Troy K — 14 Feb 2014
The first half of the film is both interesting and fun, with a perfect set up for James D'Arcy's brilliant 'villain' to unleash his wrath upon his clueless, arrogant students. Unfortunately, the director couldn't manage ending the film the way he started it - giving us quite possibly the weakest 'twist' ending I've seen in years.
. and a 'villain' whose motive ends up being as weak as the characters seen in most romantic comedies.
