Review of Across 110th Street (1972) by Beverly J — 17 Oct 2006
This 1972 crime drama does show it's age, the score is so routinely 1970's, but it still packs a punch. Fine cast, violent, especially for the time period. Tense and exciting but it lacks heart.
It tends to be cold and unfeeling. Perhaps that was a deliberate thing, but the film was too aloof for me to work completely.
