Review of Accidents Happen (2009) by Chris G — 27 May 2010

Small town coming of age story aims for whimsical and touching, but ends up twee and melodramatic. 15 year old Billy has divorced parents, a dead sister and a brother in a coma, and a mother with an interesting foul mouthed turn of phrase.

The adults inject as much life into the story as they can, but they are somewhat scuppered by some poor child actors.
