Review of A Trick of the Light (1995) by Jens T — 23 Jan 2011
A Trick of Light is the relatively unknown story about the three Skladanowsky brothers, three forgotten film pioneer. In this lovely underated picture we see a reenactment in bronze black and white, with all the authentical element of the 1890s way of filmmaking.
The film also focusing on a present day interview with the 91-years-old daughter of one of the pioneers by a buch of movie people including Wim Wenders all listening instrested. A Trick of Light is candy for all movie lovers.
