What a mindfuck. 4 men meet on the other side of a hedge while the English civil war is raging behind them. One makes a stew laced with magic mushrooms and what happens from then on can only be regarded as one hell of a trip.
A well acted film that is open for you to really think about what the hell you just watched. Good soundtrack to boot. Ben Wheatley just keeps making some very interesting films, the man does what he wants and you will either love what he does or hate his work.
I dig the fuck out of what he does.
