Review of 6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park (2011) by Nancy O — 03 Nov 2012
I may not laugh at all of the jokes on South Park, but there's no denying that Trey Parker and Matt Stone really know their stuff. 6 Days to Air is not only a great short doc for South Park fans, but for anyone interested in learning about a the journey any creator goes through while crafting their art.
Not only do these two guys seem to go through every emotional high and low every week in the making of a South Park episode, but Trey's final admission that while he wishes the episode could better but eventually you need to put your product out there is important advice to all of us amateur creators.
If you want your novel/TV pilot/script to make it in the world, you just can't keep it in your drawer for years. You need to let it fly.
