Review of 28 Up (1984) by Andy D — 09 Dec 2008
At 28, with a couple of very notable exceptions, they all seem to have settled into sedate, mediocre lives. It all feels very Mike Leigh, without the brilliant black humor. There was some greatness to it, and further reinforcement of the series-defining quote, but frankly, it wasn't nearly as exciting as 7/14/21.
Plus, two of my favorites, the most interesting, decided not to return. Fooey on them!
