Review of 24 Hour Party People (2002) by Billy B — 25 Sep 2007
Pete Shelly told me that the most rediculous events that the movie protrayed really happened and the less selatious events likely didn't happen. This movie really capture the essence of the that period.
The music is great except for the Happy Mondays. BUt the story of the Mondays with the addiction to herion and a scene that was floundering in excess and indulgence was bound to empolde. This movie is even more important with up coming release of Control: the story of Ian Curtis.
