Review of 10 Days in a Madhouse (2015) by Michael C — 13 Jun 2016
10 DAYS IN A MADHOUSE is in the great tradition of Z-Movies. Its incompetence is matched only by the passion of its makers, people who clearly have no resources and no eye for filmmaking. However, that disparity between talent and ambition creates an aesthetic that is completely unique and oddly beautiful.
I have to admit, as well, that the script is pretty solid, and allows a handful of impressive performances to shine through. Oh, and the title track, "Nellie Bly" by Paul Ellis is a.......fiercely educational gem.
