Obviously it's a bad movie meant for kids, but contextually, it deserves 4 stars. You have to see how bad the television show normally is to appreciate what a good effort this movie is. In particular, there is significant improvement on visuals and a fan-pleasing tie-in of the legacy of the long-running show.
