Review of Wolves (2014) by Ian G — 15 Nov 2014
An entry from the 2014 edition of Toronto After Dark, Wolves follows like a western with Lucas Till playing the titular anti-hero driving into a small town in search of his lineage as his werewolf powers manifest at adulthood , only to bite of more than he can chew as he gets caught up at a feud between the warring clans of the town, those who have suppressed their animal instincts and though who run wild.
Pretty much a weird style mismash somewhere between twilight, xmen and something you might find late night of Space, Wolves will probably be a forgetable film most remembered for the use of tween werewolf makeup and the CW presence of Lucas Till of Havok/first class fame along with genre regular Stephan McHattie but not much else.
Disposable entertainment.
