Review of Wolfen (1981) by Brandon B — 04 Dec 2008
Werewolf movies usually range from hysterically bad (Howling II) to just awful (Howling: New Moon Rising) to gimmicky (Teen Wold Too, Underworld), but this was surprisingly good. The shots of scary late 70's New York really add to the mood and there's a palpable Carter-era malaise all over this thing.
