Fun story; fell good movie. This reminds me of "A Christmas Story," especially with Chevy Chase's narration, as the adult version of a child character. Also, both movies take place around Christmas time.
I always enjoyed Wally Lamb's books, and although I've never read the one this is based on, I imagine I would enjoy it as well. This film version is delightful. Some of the accents aren't great, but I can over-look that when the movie is so entertaining.
