Review of Wish I Was Here (2014) by Singn P — 26 Jul 2014
I disagree with the relatively low reviews by critics. Went to see this movie and loved it. A fictional movie yes, but with intelligent dialogue, a lot of truth, and a good depiction of human emotion and family relationships.
The cast was top-notch. Zach Braff does great work. Mandy Patinkin? you just can't beat his acting. And Joey King, the young woman playing the daughter, was remarkable. It's not an action film by any means, but if you like human drama with serious themes of love, family, questions of life direction, and an underlying positive tone, this film may be for you.
