Review of Wish I Was Here (2014) by Hiroko D — 19 Nov 2016

I enjoyed it very much. I appreciated the dynamics of love and imperfection and most appreciated the kindness that was given from one family member to another. The way family members should interact with one another.

I was grateful for Kate Hudson's character and how she was so loving to her husband in a situation that many wives would never have tolerated. The love was what maintained calm amidst the chaos and helped them push through the hardships.

The hardships were familiar, the way things worked in the story were not. Thank you for this movie.
