Review of Wind Walkers (2015) by Amanda C — 05 Jan 2016
Suffering from a lead that has the charisma of a bowl of wet porridge and every cliche in the book, Wind Walkers is almost unwatchable. The myth of the Wind Walkers has the potential to be a great psychological thriller, but unfortunately the film throws out any of the logic associated with it in the first half hour in favour of a groan inducing, half baked zombie film.
You see everything coming a mile off and the plot holes are so large the rest of the film is swallowed up by them. The best characters are killed off too soon, leaving us the cold porridge and his over earnest girlfriend.
By the end, my eyes hurt from all the rolling and I couldn't get out of the theatre long enough.
