What a great story and so well told. Not many movies touch on reservation life at all, even though it was just part of the backdrop.
The movie takes place in Wyoming and starts off with the murder of a young woman which prompts an FBI agent to come in and solve the crime.
Most movies would be done right there, but what makes Wind River great is the added horror and beauty of the thematics of life on the reservation. Its a fantastic mystery woven into Sullen themes and beautiful music. The movie is definitely worth your attention and I highly recommend it.
