Review of Win Win (2011) by Filippo G — 21 Sep 2011

I'm not too big on Indie flicks, typically. I usually think they are trying too hard to be "artsy" and that falls flat with me. This one is different. Simply put, this is a good movie on every level.

The acting is great. Paul Giamatti is as good as anyone in the industry, but he has to be cast in the right role and this one is perfect for him. He is really appealing, along with the other characters.

This was the best "dramedy" (drama/comedy) that I have seen in a very long time. It was funny, it was deep, it was emotional and touching, and just very effective in every way. I highly recommend it.
