Review of Wild Things (1998) by Sandra S — 15 Apr 2009

This is a fantastic thriller that will surprise you! Actually, I didn't expect too much of this film after only watching its trailer. And what the movie is all about it's not immediately obvious - that's one of the most interesting points - because the first minutes of the film could easily turn into any ordinary teenager flick.

There is still conflict and tension between the trio of lovers (Dillon, Campbell and Ryan) during the story. Some people can focus on the hot scenes but these were just details because the plot deals with interesting and deep themes like greed, lust and revenge in an intelligent way.

Obviously, as a thriller I can't comment too much on the story without spoiling it, except to say that all of the twists in the plots actually come together in a clever way and things aren't always what they expect to be.

However, you can be sure it will worth watching it !
