I wasn't sure what to expect from this 'gay western' as 'Brokeback Mountain' disappointed on the level of not being able to hear one of the main character's mumbling. But I thought this was an excellent film, deep characterisations, fascinating plot, some wonderful meandering scenes, very thought-provoking and moving.
