Wilbur, apart from being quite handsome, having a dark sense of humour and an original approach to children wants (as you would never have guessed) to kill himself. Yet, the real main character of the movie is his brother Harbour, who dealt with the death of both of their parents, both of whom had apparently loved Wilbur more than him.
What was Wilbur's problem? Couldn't he see a meaning in his life? Did he lack responsibility or aim? Was he simply immature? Did he really wanted to kill himself?
