Jacques Tourneur's western, starring Joel McCrea, Vera Miles, Peter Graves, Jack Elam, Lloyd Bridges and others. Wyatt Earp doesn't want to be marshall, but doggone it, the town needs him. The cinemascope frame is often filled with dozens of background players.
