Review of Whiplash (2014) by Isaac J — 22 Dec 2018
Whiplash is an amazing movie. The cinematography is superb and the acting feels so completely reel it is no wonder why J.K Simmons won best supporting actor in nearly every award show. Furthermore, The awkward relationship in-between the characters Andrew and Nicole feels thoroughly genuine. Despite all this, the aspect that this film accomplishes perfectly is putting you in the character shoes. Throughout the whole movie, you feel everything Andrew is going through and understand him completely. Every story beat has a great emotional impact and reveals Andrew extreme dedication to his goal. This award-winning picture has easily made its way to my list of favourite movies.
