This is one of the best Irish movies I've seen in a long time but I don't think it quite lives up to the hype. Jack Reynor is fantastic as Richard, a character we can never really like but unfortunately Abrahamson is asking for a little too much from some of the supporting cast.
It's beautifully shot and offers a pretty brutal mirror to middle class Irish society.
