Andrew Haigh's WEEKEND will blow you away. This is a very modern, very intimate, truly romantic film. It's like a gay BRIEF ENCOUNTER for the 21st century. All around wonderful. Was surprised by some of the politics--it seemed very dated but hey it's Scotland and not a major city.
A lovely intimate, personal, wonder of a film.
