War for the Planet of the Apes is a genuine surprise, bringing us an emotional story rather than an action-oriented one. The film follows the journey of Caesar yet again, but this time he deals with an internal struggle about whether he should avenge his kind.
It has been years since a summer blockbuster like this emotionally riveted me.
