Review of War Dance (2007) by Ewa B — 07 Feb 2008
Visually a stunning film to watch, Fine and Nix give us a raw glimpse into the extraordinary lives of displaced Ugandan war orphans and the infinite power of music to heal. Some of the special effects used in the transitions proved a minor distraction but the directors undoubtedly captured the myriad of states that the children went through in their roller coaster ride - inconsolable grief at one end of the spectrum to total elation at the other end.
