Review of Waking Life (2001) by Gary P — 19 Jul 2008
An astonishing achievement. This is an intellectual film, similar in concept to "Mindwalk" or "My Dinner With Andre," that never fails to actually be entertaining and even engrossing.
This is due, in part to the artwork, but also to the presence of Wiley Wiggins, the protagonist, who floats through the film in a perpetual dream state. No description, though, can do it justice.
