I don't understand the harsh critique that this film is getting.. didn't everyone love Forest Gump?? Isn't this film quite similar, in the idea that he blatantly has a disorder of some kind but he is completely harmless and will protect his loved ones, not to mention what he has been through as a young child.

I find this film refreshing, and the innocence of the character beautiful,while showing the effects of someone suffering a mental disorder. Quite frankly, those who regard this character as a stalker couldn't have payed much attention whilst watching the film, because he clearly describes the reasoning for his actions with Tom Sturridge's brilliant heart warming performance.

.. I fell in love with the character immediately! I loved this film and I think people need to have an open mind while watching it. Its a real shame it didn't get the reception it deserved, if given half the chance it could have gone far.
