Review of Viva Cuba (2005) by Sukanya V — 09 Apr 2008
I love movies told with the perspective of kids. Viva Cuba is one such sensitive film with a refreshing landscape. The young actors -- Jorgito and Malú are effortlessly endearing as like-minded best friends who run away from home for the love of it.
The viewer warms up to this strange paradox, in the process developing some understanding of Cuba's complicated history and its impact on the people.
