Review of Viva Cuba (2005) by Mina . — 07 Dec 2010
Fun and magical movie of young love between neighboring kids and adventure in a mildly turbulent cuba. as kids typically run at 100 mph, so does this story displaying a wide range of situations, emotions with a dash of the imaginative.
common themes: all's fair in love and war, thin line between love and hate, your hot and cold... :P what more can be said, but that after some introductory dancing to bring you into circumstance, the girl discovers that her mother plans to marry her suitor out-of-town, and the two youngin's runaway and charter to another side of the country to find the girls biological father and urge that he sign a petition against allowing her mother to move.
... all the while, their mothers are in desperation at home in receiving news updates from the police on their whereabouts. ees good and the young latin humor hits home-runs!
