Review of Vita & Virginia (2019) by Jluis_001 — 21 Sep 2019
This is the typical period film that typically looks good, that's typically well produced, that's typically well directed and that's typically well acted but that is also typically quite boring and frankly I didn't feel a real interest in its story while I was watching it beyond what prompted me to see it in the first place.
In addition, despite the good performances of its protagonists, both Gemma Arterton and Elizabeth Debicki lack screen chemistry.
That was a serious mistake from the casting department.
