Review of Vera Cruz (1954) by Senor C — 21 Jul 2011
When you pit two giants like Gary Cooper and Burt Lancaster together in a film, you quickly see the scale of Lancaster`s charisma and character. Cooper on the other hand doesn't make much out of himself, he is sort of the quiet respectable type.
But it is exactly these conflicting quality's that make this film so great. The contrast between the two is what makes "Vera Cruz" a conflict filled hilarity from beginning to end.
