Review of Vanity Fair (1932) by Edda W — 01 Nov 2007
It's one of my favourite books by Thackery and I think Reese Witherspoon plays Becky Sharp marvelous. To be honest - I like this ending more - in the book Thacery is too pessimistic, but I forgive him - it's sayed that he had a bad time when he wrote it.
And like also the influence of the indian culture which Mira Nair shows us.
