Review of Vanilla Sky (2001) by Rebecca H — 14 Feb 2012
One of my favourite movies and unfortunately underrated. I am not a fan of Tom Cruise per se but his performance as a confused, narcissistic rich heir trying to find his place beyond the responsibilities his father left him and finding and losing love with Penelope Cruz's character when least expected was very compelling and extremely moving.
I highly recommend it to anybody willing to give it a go but in order to comprehend it thoroughly requires a couple of watches.
