Review of Vanilla Sky (2001) by Lee P — 05 Feb 2014
Wow. I'm surprised at all the negative reviews. I'm not much of a fan of Tom Cruise but he does good work with Cameron Crowe. As for as whether this is better than the original, IU think it defintely was.
The original seemed more an exercise in high concepty. Crowe's version amps the love story, which is magnificent. Cruz and Diaz are both excellent, and I didn't even hate Jason Lee in this.
