Upstream Color reminds me that, where today's movies may have fallen into catatonic fits of narcolepsy, the Cinema is still alive and fighting through the vision of directors like Shane Curruth! Good films provoke without preaching.
UC: Check! Good films force the viewer to look at himself without inspiring narcissism. UC: Check!! Good films entertain without reminding the audience they are getting their money's worth of entertainment.
