Review of Up and Down (2004) by Ilja M — 08 Jun 2007
One of the best Czech films that reflects some aspects of life in the Czech Rep., ranging from a good hearted soccer hooligan family; college professor and his unresolved problems to a bunch of pickpocket guys.
The plot is organised in a very intelligent way, so that the destinies of all the groups of characters intersect at some phase. The film is full of funny cliches and some stereotypic xenophobic quotes.
