An interesting look at a music scene I had never even heard of (Norwegian dark metal), Until the Light Takes Us is a well crafted look at the darker side of music. I'm sure more interesting to those who are familiar with the genre or events caused by the underground scene, the film suffers somewhat from lack of focus on what it is trying to say and things into context for those of us who don't know the genre in focus.
That said, this is still an interesting watch for music fans and social critics.
