Review of Unthinkable (2007) by Gere K — 03 Nov 2010
If the movie wanted us to think about our hypo critic selves, then it excels beyond almost anything i've ever seen, let's put aside the big plot holes in the story and focus for a moment on the better aspects of the film, the acting, stunning performances by all three Jackson, Carrie and Sheen.
The tension, gradually building and captivating, the violence, moderate but suggestive enough to make us curl, the idea, fantastic. A movie for those of us tired of Hollywood's gospel of doing what feels good and all others.
This film was the best thing this year bar the gaping holes in the storyline which were perhaps necessary to make the movie possible. Kudos to the writers for this film.
