Review of Unknown Pleasures (2002) by Grant K — 25 Nov 2007
This film is so real in its images of everyday life for an average young Chinese guy out in the provinces...a lot of hanging around, smoking cigerettes, dreaming of that elusive girl with a lot of boredom in between.
Just a bit too much of this mundane-ness translated into this movie for my liking. It sent me to sleep.
