Review of Under the Sun (2015) by Nick U — 19 Nov 2016
11/18/16 Netflix.
A fascinating, disturbing and detailed look at Communism and the Cult of Personality in North Korea. The school room scenes shows how children are indoctrinated at a very young age. The scenery is stark and it is interesting to see wide streets with little track. The film stays in an urban area and does not show life in rural areas which must be much harder. All in all kudos to the fil makers for opening a world we do not get much chance to see.
