Review of Under the Skin (2014) by Olivierpiel — 14 May 2018
This is one of the best movies made since 2000. This movie represents the best metaphor of the abyss at the edge of which our Western democratic societies dance perilously close to at the moment. The underlying repulsion of nihilism and materialism at the heart of this work of art is a wake up call to all of us to rebuild new values for a world where sex has replaced love, where selfishness pass as will to power, where utter loneliness has reduced our humanity to its most primitive form.
Brilliant. Real horror. Exactly what Colonel Kurtz meant.
