Review of Under Our Skin (2008) by Heather M — 18 Apr 2009
This movie is very sobering . . . if I thought I was safe from Lyme Disease it left no stone unturned that Lyme is an epidemic not just headed our way but already here. I was amazed a how much suffering these people had to endure before getting a correct diagnoses.
Being misdiagnosed with so many diseases ranging from MS, Parkinson's, Lupus, Alzheimers to Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue was frightening, especially when they could actually get well with treatment for Lyme.
How the Government treated the doctors and insurance companies treated patients was unbelievable and outrageous. It shows what I always suspected, things aren't always what they seem with our Government.
