Review of True Grit (2010) by Benjamin N — 23 Sep 2014
With apologies to fans of cult favorites like Lebowski, O Brother, etc. this is also in my top three Coen flicks. A refreshingly aptly done remake of a classic. The Coens are evident, but not overly so, just enough to add some modern zest and differentiate from the original.
