Review of Trouble the Water (2008) by Patrick D — 16 Nov 2009
Seriously. Heartbreaking. Yet. Hopeful.
The story of those wholly imperfect people who haven't had oppurtunities handed to them, having a government that is unwilling to help them in their time of need. The people in this film, while yes, they are drug dealers and don't do the best things in the world, are amazing people. As shown by how they treat others around them, the love they share, the help they offer.
Tragedy causes people to come together in unique ways, and this film captures the essence that we're all human.
