Review of Trouble Every Day (2001) by Joseph S — 02 Sep 2009
June Brown eats the flesh of a horny teenager while Vincent Gallo's character literally "eats pussy". It's probably one of Claire Denis' most watchable films as she does have a slow-paced yet unique way of storytelling.
And if we were to categorize this movie, it would belong to the horror genre, only without its conventions and cliches. This film is enough to make me loathe Vincent Gallo especially since his character here is still alive by the end.
