Review of Triumph of the Will (1935) by Alexander C — 22 May 2010
This movie amazed me. It became a powerful landmark in Motion Picture History, due to Leni's techniques such as moving cameras, the use of telephoto lenses to create a distorted perspective, aerial photography, and revolutionary approach to the use of music and cinematography, which made it gain recognition as one of the greatest films ever made.
It also glorified Nazism, making it look good despite the horrors of it. You must see this movie at least once in your lifetime, even if you can't stand Nazism.
