One of my favorite movies of all the Disney animated movies. Treasure Planet blew me away as a kid, because I loved the book so much and I love space and sci-fi as well. The movie really captivated me, and it has some beautiful art, as well as an interesting and engaging plot.
Other reviewers tend to take this movie too seriously, or think it was trying to be something it wasn't, hence some of the poor reviews. If you sit back, and watch this movie with an open mind, it will definitely entertain you.
