Review of Tracers (2015) by Ian C — 26 Jul 2016

Not the best movie ever made. Not the best action movie ever made. Not even the best parkour movie ever made. But it's surprisingly watchable despite all the cliches (loan sharks! Bent cop! Pontiac GTO! Hero and hero's mentor falling out over a woman! Probably other stuff!) and Sharkboy's ongoing lack of acting talent and charisma (though, to be fair, he's good at running around and jumping over things).

Marie Avgeropoulos is the only reason I watched it, being a fan of her performance on The 100, and she's good here, but relatively untested. All other actors get a solid 'meh'. No new ground is broken, no envelopes are pushed, but it's an OK way to kill time.
